Terms & Conditions

  1. Information on how to enter forms part of these terms and conditions. Entry into the competition constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions and an acknowledgement that this is part of the Jacqui E VIP program; which is governed by the Jacqui E VIP Membership Terms and Conditions (available at Participating Jacqui E Stores and at www.jacquie.com.au).
  2. The promoter is Just Group Pty Ltd, 658 Church Street Richmond VIC 3121. ABN 97 096 911 410 / Kimbyr Investments Ltd, Company No 205268.
  3. This promotion commences at 9.00am (AEST) Monday, 1st October 2007 and closes at 5.00pm (AEST) Wednesday, 31st October 2007 ("Promotional Period").
  4. "Participating Jacqui E Stores" means all Jacqui E stores in Australia and New Zealand (excluding factory outlets).
  5. To be eligible for entry a person must be a resident of Australia or New Zealand and a valid Jacqui E VIP Cardholder. Employees of Jacqui E and/or their related entities are not eligible to enter this Competition ("Valid Members").
  6. All 'Valid' Jacqui E VIP Members who make a purchase from 9.00am (AEST) Monday, 1st October 2007 and 5.30pm (AEST) Wednesday, 31st October 2007 at a Participating Jacqui E Store and present their Jacqui E VIP Card at the time of making the purchase ("Qualifying Purchase"), will automatically go in the draw to win one of the major prizes.
  7. Major Prizes:
    1. 'Valid' Jacqui E VIP members who provide their Jacqui E VIP membership card when making a Qualifying Purchase will automatically be entered into the draw. There is no limit on how many times a 'Valid' Jacqui E VIP member can enter.
    2. There are 7 Major Prizes to be won of a $1,000 Jacqui E gift voucher.
    3. The Major Prize draw will take place at 3.00pm AEST on Monday 5th November 2007, at Visible Results, Unit 1, 10-20 McEvoy Street, Waterloo, New South Wales. There will be one winner from each of the following regions - Victoria/Tasmania, New South Wales/Australian Capital Territory, South Australia, Western Australia, Queensland/Northern Territory, North Island New Zealand and South Island New Zealand, who will be notified by telephone and mail, and their names will be published in The Australian newspaper on Wednesday 7th November 2007.
    4. If a Major Prize/s is unclaimed or a winning entrant is unable to satisfy these terms and conditions by 3:00pm AEST on 4th February 2008, then a draw will take place at 3.00pm AEST on Thursday 7th February 2008 at Visible Results, Unit A, 10-20 McEvoy Street, Waterloo, New South Wales, subject to permission from Department of Gaming and Racing (NSW) and any written directions given under regulation 37 of the Lottery and Gaming Regulations 1993 (SA). All valid Eligible Persons who made purchases as set out in clause 6 above during the Promotional Period, will be in this draw. The winner/s, if an unclaimed prize draw is necessary, will be notified by telephone and mail and his or her name and suburb will be published in The Australian newspaper on Wednesday 13th February 2008.
    5. All claims for prizes will be met notwithstanding that the advertised prize pool has been exceeded. Printing errors or other quality control matters outside the control of the individual player shall not be used as a means for refusing to award the prize.
  8. The total value of all prizes for Jacqui E VIP Promotion is RRP$7,000.00,
  9. All prizes are not exchangeable, transferable or redeemable for cash or other goods or services.
  10. Any tax implications for Eligible Persons, which may arise from this promotion are the responsibility of the Eligible Persons, and independent advice should be sought.
  11. In conducting this promotion Jacqui E Pty Ltd:
    • will use your name and contact information collected from you for purposes relating to and arising from this promotion;
    • will publish all prize winner's names and their suburb and the names of all winners and their suburb following any unclaimed prize draw;
    • may require the winner of the prize to provide proof of identity;
    • will not be liable for any loss or damage resulting from incorrect details being provided by entrants; and
    • may otherwise use and disclose the entrant's personal contact information as required or authorised by law.
    • may publish the winner's full name, suburb and state of residence on www.jacquie.com.au for a period of one month and on one Jacqui E VIP e-newsletter to be sent to the entire Jacqui E VIP email membership base.
  12. Jacqui E and its respective related bodies corporate, officers, employees and agents will not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss), or for personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with this competition, the promotion of this competition or the use of the prize, except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law.
